Overview

Stock Reef helps Shopify merchants identify low stock and calculate reorder suggestions. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how that data is used.

Data Stock Reef accesses

• Product, variant, SKU, vendor, product type, and image data.
• Inventory quantities, inventory tracking, locations, and unit cost data.
• Recent order line item quantities used to calculate 7-day and 30-day sales history.
• Shop installation/session data required to keep the app connected to Shopify.

How data is used

Data is used only to display the reorder dashboard, calculate sales history, and recommend reorder quantities. Stock Reef does not edit products, inventory, orders, or customer records.

Storage and retention

Stock Reef stores Shopify session data in a managed production database so merchants can securely use the app. Operational data is kept only for as long as needed to provide the service, support the merchant, and meet legal obligations.

Uninstall and deletion

When a shop uninstalls Stock Reef, the app receives Shopify's uninstall webhook and deletes stored sessions for that shop. Stock Reef also handles Shopify privacy webhooks for customer data requests, customer redaction, and shop redaction.
